“Vodafone Ready for the Big
League Award 2014-15”
Mumbai. Sanjeev Gupta, Managing
Director, Global Advertisers, has won the “Vodafone Ready For The Big League Award
2014-15”, which was presented on March 12, 2015 at Hotel Four Seasons,Worli,
Mumbai, after a rigorous screening of over 15,000 businesses pan-India by
market analyst McKinsey.
Only 10 businesses across India managed to qualify for
the honor, which is given every year to most promising businesses in the
country. The awardees get extensive coverage on CNBC, Forbes, Mint and business
magazines. Vodafone Business Services (VBS) launched the program in 2014
to catalyse growth of medium sized businesses as the enterprise arm. The Ready
for the Big League connects and engages fast-growing medium sized businesses
with annual turnover between Rs 50 crore and Rs 500 crore. Business
Readiness Scorecard is a web-based diagnostic tool that measures business
readiness towards facing future challenges that helps businesses work towards
better operational agility, better connected employees and more satisfied
customers."I am delighted to achieve this honor. It is heartening that I
was able to feature in the top ten businesses in this year, “said Sanjeev Gupta.
